PRODUCTS AND SPECIALTIES: Growing, importing and shipping. Mellano and Company farms more than 550 acres in San Luis Rey and 75 acres in Carlsbad, producing more than four million bunches of fresh flowers and foliage from our fields. We also import products from South America, Holland, Australia, Mexico, Italy and other countries.

OTHER: With two Ph.D's and one Master's level horticulturist on staff, our crops are produced under the most advanced scientific and environmentally responsible conditions. We adhere to strict post-harvest guidelines, ensuring the utmost in freshness and quality. Flowers are packed, pre-cooled and prepared for shipment daily, using more than 13,000 sq. ft. of on-site computer-monitored refrigeration, with a pre-cooling capacity of more than 350 boxes per hour.
